St Pauls Carnival to go 'back to our roots' to secure its long-term future View 3 Images

The community behind Bristol’s biggest street party say they want to take it ‘back to our roots’, as organisers consider changes and a switch in focus. It could mean the St Pauls Carnival looks a little different next year and in years to come - and is more like the carnival of previous years gone by.

The driving force behind the initiative is Junior Saunders , who said the aim is to create a carnival that "honours the past, reflects the present and builds a vibrant future for generations to come".
