In the Philadelphia area, Friday morning has a good chance to be the coldest of the season so far after overnight lows dropping into the 30s all throughout the city suburbs. Frost advisories have been issued for Lower Bucks, Montgomery and Chester counties as well as all of South Jersey away from the coast.
While we don't expect frost in Philadelphia, it will likely be the coldest morning of the season. So far our coldest temperature in the city was 45 two Fridays ago.
After our cold morning, we'll climb to near 60 this afternoon with a good deal of sunshine.
The weekend is trending dry and cool with good fall football weather for the Eagles game on Sunday. Be sure to bring the coat if you're spending time outdoors, but go ahead and leave the umbrella at home.
