Even as she deals with a legislative majority that won't let her legislation come to a vote, or approve some of her district’s funding requests, Mulé keeps pushing, going as far as suing the county, along with fellow lawmaker Scott Davis, regarding Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman's special deputies program. And the Freeport Democrat continues to search for alternative ways to help her district, utilizing, for example, capital program funding to secure a needed bucket truck for Baldwin's fire department.
