INDIANAPOLIS -- Rick Carlisle was asked about the explanation he got from officials on two timeouts -- one he tried to call that wasn't granted and one that Oklahoma City's Mark Daigneault called that was. The Pacers coach decided it would be wise not to even drift near the subject of referees, so he opted not to even relay what he'd been told.
"I'm not talking about the refs," Carlisle said. "If I talk about the refs, I'm going to get fined an exorbitant amount of money."
There were a number of complaints Carlisle could have had if he had chose to risk some of the contents of his bank account. The Pacers lost to the Thunder 141-135 in double overtime and there were two calls on inbounds plays connected to those timeouts that, had they gone the other way, could have impacted the game
