Second-seeded Freehold Borough defeated sixth-seeded Ocean Township 2-0 in the semifinal round of the Shore Conference Coaches’ Cup in Freehold with a balanced scoring attack.

Brielle Loize gave Freehold Borough a 1-0 lead at the break before Gabriella Baralus added an insurance goal in the second half.

Mandi Guo had two assists and Makayla Koltunicki made five saves in the shutout.

Freehold Borough (12-6) will travel to top-seeded Shore in the final round on Saturday at a time to be announced. Ocean Township (6-12-1) will host Southern on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
