WILLIAMSTON — Gavin Rabideau spent the first three years of his high school career at the club level, most recently playing for Midwest United.
But with a desire to have some more opportunities to work on certain areas of his game, Rabideau decided to spend his senior year representing his school and playing for the Lansing Catholic boys soccer program.
It's a decision that has paid dividends for both parties.
Rabideau has emerged as the leading goal scorer for the Cougars and has further developed his skills in areas where he couldn't while playing club.
And Lansing Catholic has had plenty of success and added to that Thursday, Oct. 23.
The Cougars got a pair of goals from Rabideau while capturing a Division 3 regional championship with a 3-2 victory over Frankenmuth in overtime. The
