LONGMONT — It’d been a year since Silver Creek’s Kaden Riedel broke his foot in the opening half of the 2024 regular-season finale against Centaurus.
Here he was again: The Warriors in front of him. A league title again on the line.
Déjà vu — nahhh. Thursday was more like redemption for the senior standout.
Riedel’s foot feels just dandy a year later, he said. Yet it was his header in the 63rd minute that proved the difference in the Raptors’ 2-1, 4A/3A Granite Peaks League-clinching win over Centaurus.
