We're wrapping up our first week of Indiana high school girls basketball coverage for the 2025-26 season with something new: A preseason statewide top-25.

What follows is my first attempt at ranking (my least favorite activity) the state's 25 best teams, regardless of class, entering the new season. I'll be writing more in-depth on the Central Indiana teams next week, so we're keeping their capsules short-and-sweet.
