Three police officers were hospitalised after a collision involving two police cars in Edinburgh's New Town.
The incident took place around 6am on Friday, October 24 on Broughton Street .
Three individuals were treated at the scene after the crash. Images show police officers standing on the road which has been taped off.
The road has since re-opened. At the time, closures were put in place on East London Street, Albany Street, Forth Street and York Place with drivers urged to 'avoid the area'.
Lothian Buses confirmed services were unable to use Broughton Street, and were being diverted via Elm Row, Annandale Street and East London Street.
The officers' injuries are not believed to be serious.
