Nalani Damacion scored an early goal as the Hawaii women’s soccer team beat UC Davis 1-0 on Thursday in Davis, Calif.

Damacion’s goal came at 8:13 off an assist from Amber Gilbert.

Kennedy Justin made four saves for the Rainbow Wahine (4-6-8, 2-2-4 Big West).

Cat Pieper had three saves for the Aggies (2-12-4, 0-8-1).

Chaminade volleyball sweeps Westmont

Alizaysha Sopi finished with 13 kills and Lillie Hinton added 11 as the Chaminade women’s volleyball team beat Westmont 25-21, 25-23, 27-25 on Thursday at McCabe Gym.

Lilinoe Paschoal recorded 18 assists and Allexis Iramina added 16 for the Silverswords (12-11, 6-1 PacWest).

Maddie Finnegan had 10 kills for the Warriors (7-12, 2-4).
