Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers, known for their nuclear capabilities, flew a routine patrol over the Sea of Japan, according to a report by Russia's RIA news agency on Friday.
The patrol flight remained above neutral waters, and throughout various stages of the mission, the bombers were accompanied by fighter jets from foreign countries, as stated by the Russian Defence Ministry.
This patrol reaffirms Russia's strategic presence in the region, even amid tensions and military observances by global powers.
