Gunshot victim shows up to hospital, says shot while walking

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A gunshot victim told officers he was walking down the road when he was shot by an unknown person.

On Oct. 24, at 12:30 a.m., the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to a report of a man with a gunshot wound showing up at the hospital by a private vehicle.

The victim told SPD that he was walking on the 500 block of Malcolm Street when he realized he was shot in the right forearm.

The victim says he saw a loud, dark colored sedan driving down the road, but he doesn’t know if it was involved.

The man’s condition is non-life-threatening.
