Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd (CGCEL) announced on Friday its successful bid for a significant Rs 445.03 crore tender facilitated by the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP). The award is under the PM-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna and aims to enhance the energy efficiency of homes with 2 KW on-grid systems. CGCEL's role encompasses design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and operation for five years.
