Southern’s offense might show signs of new life in Fred McNair’s first game as interim coach. However, that won't be if it consistently gets ill-timed penalties and turnovers. It’s difficult to believe the Jaguars will take a big enough leap from last week to beat a pass-happy FAMU team that has historically beaten the Southern and is coming off a win.
