JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Michael D’Angelo, a UPMC-insured patient, filled his medication at Martella’s Pharmacy Thursday as he has done for years. He said he noticed no difference in cost.
But that’s because the family-owned, independent Martella’s Pharmacy on Franklin Street is apparently eating the increased cost that would otherwise fall on customers due to an action Tuesday of pharmacy benefit management company Express Scripts. ×
