(Converse) — The Seguin Matadors are on the road tonight for a key District 13-5A matchup against the Wagner Thunderbirds.
Seguin is 1-3 in district. Wagner is 2-2. The T-birds are currently tied with Boerne Champion for the fourth and final playoff spot in the district.
Last week, Seguin fell to defending state champion Smithson Valley. Despite the loss, the Matador offense did not turn the ball over against a physical Ranger defense. But Seguin head coach Craig Dailey says his receivers need to improve their pass catching.
