PITTSBURGH —
Authorities are investigating after a stabbing on the border of Pittsburgh's Homewood North and East Hills neighborhoods.

When officers arrived, they found a blood trail leading from a house and discovered a man with a large laceration to his hand.
That man was taken to a hospital in critical condition but is stable.
Another man was found with a small abrasion to the head. He refused to be transported to a hospital, authorities said.
Police say the stabbing stemmed from an altercation.
