John Foster's new song 'Little Goes a Long Way' out today

For the first time in a year, Louisiana rising country artist and "American Idol" runnner-up John Foster released new music on Friday.

His single "Little Goes a Long Way" dropped at midnight on all streaming platforms.

"You know, it's always a great feeling to play an original song on stage. And so now I finally, not only is it my first new release since last October, but it's also my very first upbeat song," Foster said Wednesday. "So it's a super fun tune, super, like honkytonk-inspired."
