The man who allegedly caused a crash that closed the University Bridge in Saskatoon last week is facing charges once again.

According to police, numerous calls started to come in at around 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 15, reporting a driver in a black vehicle who was “driving erratically, in the wrong lanes of travel, and disobeying traffic signals.”

An officer caught up with the vehicle on Seventh Avenue North, police said, but the driver took off at high speeds, ultimately colliding with a truck on the bridge.
