WILKES-BARRE —A Wilkes-Barre woman was arraigned Thursday on charges she punched and slapped a boy while she was a patient in the emergency room at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, according to court records.
Samantha Brislin, 38, of Hazle Street, was in the emergency room where she was observed by a hospital staff member “body slam” a boy onto a bed on Wednesday, court records say.
Police in court records say Brislin and the boy were moved to another emergency room equipped with a surveillance camera where she was seen punching the boy on his back and slap the boy’s buttocks.
A Child-line call was made resulting in a caseworker from Luzerne County Children and Youth, Family Services being dispatched to the emergency room.
