A lot of school districts rescheduled their Friday night football games to Thursday night because of the risk of severe weather on Friday, but the Collinsville Cardinals will still play at Pryor as scheduled.
Friday night lights still a-go
School leaders at Collinsville and Pryor say they'll have ponchos and rain gear on hand so folks can stay dry. They plan to monitor the weather on Friday and delay the game by thirty minutes if there is lightning in the area.
What Collinsville is saying
In a statement, Collinsville's Athletic Director Brad Cantrell said with the game originally scheduled for Friday, they felt it was necessary to try to play on that date, but says student safety is their priority.
