Sajad Lone Calls J&K Rajya Sabha Results a “Fixed Match” Between NC and BJP

Srinagar, Oct 24 : In a reaction to the declared Rajya Sabha results, People’s Conference President Sajad Gani Lone has called the outcome a “fixed match” between the National Conference (NC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Taking to the microblogging platform X, Lone as per Kashmir Convener stated, “So the BJP wins the fourth seat. As predicted, a fixed match. The axis of evil: NC and BJP.” He said, “Thank God I abstained. Imagine what my plight would have been.”

He further elaborated on his allegations in a subsequent post, questioning the voting patterns: “It is now mathematically proven that it was a fixed match. Why did the NC poll extra votes for their third candidate? They didn’t need to. They polled 31 votes for candidate three, but only 29 would have sufficed—
