SEATTLE — Seattle police released new images Thursday of a suspected arsonist in South Seattle.
Police believe the man shown in the photos is responsible for starting a fire on Wednesday morning at a Beacon Hill restaurant, Saffron Spice.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video lighting a white paper on fire, sticking it in a hole in the building, then walking away.
The fire ultimately caused significant damage to the business.
The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 6 feet tall and in his 20s or 30s.
Anyone who knows the suspect's identity is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department.
Police have not said if this suspect is believed to be connected to multiple other fires that were determined to be arson in the Mount Baker, Rainier Beach and Central District
