SpaceX is working toward a Saturday, Oct. 25, launch of its Falcon 9 rocket from the Vandenberg Space Force Base.
SpaceX will launch its famous two-stage 230-foot Falcon 9 rocket, one of the world's most active, to deliver 28 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.
Rocket launches from the Vandenberg Space Force Base can be viewed across Southern California if conditions are right.
For the sixth time in October , SpaceX is planning to conduct a rocket launch from Southern California.
Once again, the commercial spaceflight company will send its Falcon 9 rocket on what's becoming an increasingly common routine mission to deploy Starlink internet satellites into orbit . And once again, the action will begin at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County.
