Air Canada has cut around 400 management positions, or 1 per cent of its workforce.

“Following an extensive review, we made the difficult decision to reduce some non-unionized management positions,” the airline said in an emailed statement to National Post.

The airline said it “regularly reviews its resources and processes to ensure they are optimized to efficiently support business operations and its customers.”
