DENVER (KDVR) — Part of Interstate 70 near East Colfax Avenue is closed after two semi trucks crashed, causing a fire on Friday morning.
Just before 9 a.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation reported that I-70 in both directions was closed at U.S. 40; East Colfax Avenue due to a crash. This is east of Aurora and south of the Denver International Airport.
Sources told FOX31 that two semi trucks collided and are on fire. SkyFOX flew over the scene, where firefighters appeared to be putting out the flames.
