MISSION, Ore. – The Umatilla Police Department is asking for video camera footage from people with road-facing cameras who live anywhere from Short Miles Road east to Cayuse Road or from Cayuse Road East to Bingham Road on the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

The department said it is looking for a missing 71-year-old Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation member Wesley Dixon Jones.

The department said Jones is five feet and eight inches tall, about 140 pounds and has long black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and red Tiger Scott jacket, black shirt, black sweatpants and boots.

Jones was last seen around 3:15 p.m. on October 5, 2025 in a vehicle on East Short Mile Road.
