DES MOINES, Iowa —

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is returning to Des Moines next spring.

The "Seinfeld" creator and star will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Des Moines Civic Center stage. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31 .

It's been almost 20 years since Seinfeld thrilled Iowans by performing at the Civic Center for free. Just three months after the series finale of his hit sitcom, Seinfeld bought the house.

He played four shows over two nights, drawing close to 11,000 people, opening at least one of them by jokingly calling the crowd "cheapskates." The $60 tickets totaled about $660,000.

At the time, Seinfeld said Iowa fans were at the right place at the right time for him.
