KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - The Killeen Police Department is currently conducting an active investigation in the 8300 block of Wellcrest Drive.

KWTX has learned from police that the investigation involves a domestic situation with a man barricaded inside a home.

“We are asking residents in the immediate area to avoid the area while officers conduct their investigation,” police wrote in a social media post.

“Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work to keep everyone safe.”
