A woman who'd been stranded on an island off Cape Cod with her husband and one son after their boat caught fire this week has died, another son said Friday.
Chris Sullivan said in a Facebook post that his mother died peacefully Thursday night, and that his father was breathing on his own and awake.

"My brother saved both of them, he was able to get them off the boat under extremely chaotic circumstances, he doesn’t want to be called a hero, but he is," he said in the post.
Sullivan also spoke to The Boston Globe , saying Cynthia Sullivan died after she'd been diagnosed with hypothermia and smoke inhalation.
"She had severe hypothermia from being out there in the elements so long, and her heart couldn't take it
