American Cinematheque Award recipient Michael B. Jordan will further be honored at the Nov. 20 gala with a career retrospective in the weeks leading up to the event, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
In May, the organization announced the Sinners star would receive its top honor. The retrospective will celebrate and showcase key performances by the actor, culminating in a 70mm presentation of Sinners with filmmaker Ryan Coogler and Jordan in person.
On Nov. 5, fans will be able to watch Jordan’s breakout performance in 2013’s Fruitvale Station , followed by 2015’s Creed on Nov. 7; 2019’s Just Mercy on Nov. 14; 2018’s Black Panther on Nov. 15; and Sinners , the main event, on Nov. 22, after the gala.
