INDIANAPOLIS -- The NBA unveiled Friday the 30 home court designs that will be used for NBA Cup games starting on Oct. 31. The Pacers' court will celebrate the catch phrase of legendary late former coach, general manager and color analyst Bob "Slick" Leonard.
The trademark phrase "Boom Baby!" -- which Leonard used whenever Pacers made a 3-pointer -- will be written in blue along the yellow sideline and also in a lighter shade of blue as a background color in a mostly navy blue court. As will be the case for every team, the NBA Cup trophy will be at half court with the location name across it. In this case the word "Indiana" will be present in the font used on their yellow statement jerseys.
The Pacers open NBA Cup group play at home at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31 against the Atlanta Hawks. The
