SANTA CLARA — The 49ers will be without their top two pass rushers on Sunday, providing more opportunities to rookie Mykel Williams and the young defensive line.
The first-round draft pick said Nick Bosa ’s presence in the 49ers' facility during the week has helped the group prepare to face the Houston Texans.
“He walks around the building daily now,” Williams said of Bosa. “So I seem him almost every day. I go to the training room and talk it up. We talk about what he’s seeing on the tape and he’s still giving me pointers. [I’m] still leaning on him.”
The All-Pro took Williams under his wing during the offseason and has continued to be a positive influence over the young defender's development. Bosa also has helped Alfred Collins get on a meal program to help him lose weight an
