Stark County native Marcus Christopher will be competing in BMX freestyle for Team USA in an upcoming world championship event in Saudi Arabia.

The Lake High School graduate is a star in BMX freestyle, winning multiple X Games medals.

Christopher narrowly missed out on a bronze medal in BMX freestyle at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Stark County native and BMX Olympic athlete Marcus Christopher continues to excel in the world of extreme sports.

Coming off his appearance in the 2024 Paris Olympics for Team USA, Christopher will represent the U.S. when it competes in the BMX World Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Nov. 4-6. He made the six-member men's team when he placed first earlier this year in freestyle park in the FISE UCI World Cup event in Montpellier, France.
