Michigan Central Station will be the place to be on Halloween, when the station and grounds will come to life to celebrate the spooky holiday.
Halloween at The Station, 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 31, is a free, two-part event featuring a family-friendly festival on the outside and live performances on the inside for a Halloween-themed edition of its Fridays at The Station monthly music series.
“It's a great way to celebrate the city, celebrate part of Detroit’s revitalization, celebrate ourselves, each other, our families and just have a good time,” said Hassan Hammoud, senior manager of essential services at Ford Philanthropy, which is organizing the event with Michigan Central.
