In anticipation of heavy rainfall from a potential cyclone, as forecasted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Odisha Water Resources Department has initiated preparedness measures. A review meeting was chaired by the Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg to assess the situation.

The meeting, held this evening in the conference room at Lok Seva Bhawan, was attended by the Chief Engineer of the Water Resources Department along with other senior officials.
