Kupwara, Oct 24: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to review the progress under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and the Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP).

It was informed in the meeting that 5710 units have been established under HADP in the district. These units pertain to Agriculture, Horticulture P&M, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries and Sericulture. Meanwhile, 770 applications were approved under HADP in the DLIC meeting besides Under JKCIP, 245 applications have been approved for establishment of the units.
