WASHINGTON — The Wizards are set to take home court on Sunday at 6 p.m.; however, that also means the road closures for the Marine Corps race may impact fans' travel to Capital One.

The Wizards are set to host the Charlotte Hornets for their home tipoff. This will be their third game in the young NBA season.

The Metropolitan Police Department, Arlington County, and the marathon event organizers have announced that there will be numerous road closures to keep runners, volunteers, and spectators safe. There will also be parking restrictions and transit impacts for drivers, which will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes or consider public transportation to avoid any delays. Fans are also encouraged to keep up with DC Police traffic
