SPOKANE, Wash. — Major construction on Argonne Road concluded Friday, restoring two-lane traffic in each direction through the corridor after months of work that transformed the roadway with new safety features.

The completed work includes new left-turn lanes at Dalton and Liberty intersections, new railroad crossing equipment at Euclid/Empire, colored concrete crosswalks and a shared-use path on the east side of Argonne north of Euclid.

While the major construction phase has concluded, final components remain outstanding.

Traffic signal and decorative street lighting equipment have not yet been delivered, with arrival expected later this winter.

City officials plan to resume project updates once delivery dates are confirmed.
