BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — According to Arkansas land records, Bentonville-based mega retailer Walmart purchased almost 90 acres across two properties in Benton County in September 2025.

Walmart Inc. is listed as having purchased over 50 acres of land off Wharton Road in Lowell on Sept. 29 for just under $11.3 million.

One week earlier, land records show Walmart purchasing just under 39 acres of land near Herbaugh Road and highway 72 in Centerton for $4 million.

At this time, Walmart has not confirmed any plans for the properties.
