Cal Trans in cooperation with Cal Valley Construction has announced the construction for the Highway 190 Porterville Intersection Improvement Project will begin. The operation will begin Monday, October 27, weather permitting:

The intersection of Highway 190 and Westwood Street will be under construction to convert the intersection into a roundabout.

This phase of construction will consist of reversing traffic control, during which time Westwood Street north of Highway 190 won't be accessible directly from the highway.

The access to/from Westwood Street north of Highway 190 will be closed starting Wednesday, October 29.
