NORFOLK, VA — NY ATTORNEY GENERAL LETITIA JAMES PLEADED NOT GUILTY IN A MORTGAGE FRAUD CASE being tried in the Commonwealth of Virginia where she owns property, according to reports in the Associated Press and the New York Times.
Appearing in federal court Friday morning, with U.S. District Judge Jamar K. Walker presiding, she pleaded not guilty to one count of bank fraud and another count of making a false statement to a financial institution.
