New Hampshire State Sen. Dan Innis, a Republican, has dropped his effort to redistrict the Granite State after Gov. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) refused to endorse the plan.

Innis had been pushing to redistrict the congressional map in New Hampshire since early August, coming as part of a broader redistricting push from Republican lawmakers in several states across the country, at the direction of the Trump administration. Innis told the NH Journal he had filed the bill in late September, but yanked the bill Friday, according to Politico .
