United States President Donald Trump is doing a local golf course a real solid with his White House demolition.

Trump recently shared via his Truth Social platform that he is breaking down the East Wing to construct a new ballroom, which will cost $300 million. He discussed the project while hosting college baseball champs LSU and LSU-Shreveport earlier this week.

“Right on the other side, you have a lot of construction going on, which you might hear periodically,” he said during the tour.

He has also insisted that the construction will not affect normal White House operations, adding that the project isn’t being funded by taxpayer dollars.
