Over the last several years Porterville College has been honored for the success of its Latinx students in transfer-level courses in meeting the requirements of Assembly Bills 705 and 1705 when it comes to equitable placement. So again PC has been honored as a Pathways Champion.
On Thursday PC was among the total of 40 community colleges and state universities in California to be recognized by the Campaign for College Opportunity as Pathway Champions for its work paving pathways to college and economic opportunity Latinx students by strengthening the transfer process.
