Here’s a list of resources if you need food assistance during the government shutdown

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Due to the government shutdown, officials are warning that Wisconsin’s FoodShare program could be delayed for the month of November, leaving nearly 700,000 Wisconsinites without access to food and other groceries.

Gov. Tony Evers explained earlier this week that Wisconsin’s FoodShare program, which is federally funded, is funded through the end of October.

The Evers administration noted WIC, a separate food assistance program for women, babies and children, is still available for eligible Wisconsinites.
