NASHVILLE — Choosing this year’s Girls Golfer of the Year was no easy task. But in the end, the body of work over the entire season and solid play for four years were deciding factors in The Southern choosing Nashville's Brynn Stiegman as our Girls Golfer of the Year.

Carterville sophomore Merryn Elliott enjoyed a solid season, placing third at the state tournament. Trico junior Whitney Lovel wasn’t far behind Elliott in ninth place. Stiegman followed in 23rd place, and one stroke behind her was Trico sophomore Aubrey Coleman.
