The Warriors organization has nobody but itself to blame for Aaron Gordon's monster performance on Thursday night at Chase Center. Well, kind of.
Gordon went nuclear in Golden State's thrilling 137-131 overtime win over the Denver Nuggets , scoring a career high 50 points with eight rebounds and two assists on 17-of-21 shooting from the field and an eye-popping 10 of 11 from 3-point range.
In speaking to reporters after the game, Gordon, a San Jose native, credited the Chase Center DJ for hyping him up.
“The DJ was playing slaps," Gordon said. "So I'm vibing the whole game. He's playing just the straight Bay that I grew up with. Just like Hyphy music. So I was just out getting Hyphy.”
Gordon then went stupid from the 3-point line and nearly handed Golden State a devastating home loss
