JONESBORO, Ark. – The Arkansas State Athletics Department announced Friday that it is moving forward with the proposed plans to construct a 40,000-square-foot baseball Player Development Center at Tomlinson Stadium and Slayton Family Field.

The proposed facility aims to continue the transformation of A-State baseball with upgraded infrastructure following the installation of a turf playing surface and new videoboard before the 2025 season, officials said.

Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Chris Pezman said the two-level center will include a full turf infield, three batting cages, three pitching tunnels, a weight room, multi-purpose meeting spaces, coaching and support staff offices, and premium seating opportunities.
