“Supernatural” star Jared Padalecki played fire captain Camden Casey on season 3 of “Fire Country,” but will he return for the CBS drama’s fourth season?

“Fire Country” showrunner Tia Napolitano shared an update on Padalecki’s character during a recent interview with Collider .

“We love Camden Casey. I don’t have any updates on his return to Edgewater, so far,” Napolitano said. Her comments seemingly confirmed that Padalecki won’t be part of season 4, which premiered on Oct. 17, but could return to “Fire Country” down the line.

Luckily for Padalecki fans, the actor will appear in the upcoming fifth and final season of “The Boys” alongside his former “Supernatural” costars Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins.
